A Resource for STudents, Teachers, and Parents
Congratulations, Class! We made it to the end of the school year!
We have learned so much on how to use technology for learning and collaboration purposes this last 3 months. We've also learned how to use Clever not just for typing, but for Brainpop and ELD Benchmark. We also learned more about taking a Diagnostic and practicing our needed skills in IXL's Recommendations Wall. Most of all, a lot of us have become experts in Google Classroom and Skies. I know most of you will be attending Summer School. So, Keep learning. Remember, you can still log-in and use IXL and get the links you need from our Google Classroom. I look forward to seeing you in August - on campus or online. I know we are ready for the next grade level! Stay safe! Bubble Hugs, Ms. Habunal

Welcome to online learning!
We are off to a great start for the 2018-2019 school year!
Put your thinking caps on and be ready to start your project-based learning portfolios! As always, I'm just an email away should you have questions regarding our current projects. - Ms. Habunal :) I hope you're all keeping up with your summer plans.
Carpe Diem! - Ms. Habunal :) Happy 2018!
Be ready to share your Winter Homework and Interviews. See you soon, Ms. Habunal :) Dear Students,
We just finished our 1st Unit! Please get ready to show what you have learned in Readers and Writers Workshop in your DIBELS Progress Monitoring and Google assignments. Good luck! Your Teacher, Ms. Habunal I hope you are all having a wonderful summer!
Don't forget to check your daily schedule. (Hint: It's the one you made the last day of class.) In case you lost your Summer Vacation Letter/Homework copy, or you are new to the school here's the link Summer Homework, so you won't have the "summer slide" when you get back to school. As always, email me, if you have any questions regarding the homework. Have fun learning new things! Be ready to share your summer learning when we get back. Best regards, Ms. Habunal I hope everyone's having a wonderful Spring Break!
Students, don't forget to read for at least 30 minutes daily - a book of your own choice (hopefully at your level), and another for your Book Club. When we get back, be sure to be ready for the SBAC by doing at least 2 pages a day from your Comprehension Packet. No excuses! :) Email me if you have any questions regarding the homework. (Hi, Melanie!) Best, Ms. Habunal Season's Greetings!
I hope your holidays will be filled with fun and learning! Please go under "Homework" and click "Winter Vacation Homework" (in case you lost your Winter Vacation Homework packet). I've also uploaded some resources to help you with the 5th Grade Globe Trotters. If you have any questions regarding the homework, you know how to reach me. See you in 2017! - Ms. Habunal "To Do or Not to Do"
Our projects on biographies are due this week. Please be sure to include the name of the famous person, the birth date, his or her family life, interesting facts about him or her, and how this person made an impact to the world. Looking forward to your presentations! -Ms. Habunal :) |
